The horrors of war

Here's a blast from the past

"Monkey" was one of my favourite shows as I grew up. I'm sure that this show will always have a special place in the hearts of many Gen X's.

Circumventing the proposed Australian Internet Filter

The proposed Australian internet filter will prove totally ineffective at stopping the spread of child porn. It is easily circumvented and will be nothing  but an incredible waste of taxpayers money. Rather than treat the Australian public as children the government should stop trying to censor the internet and get on with something a little more useful like I don't know maybe governing the country. Anyway the following short video shows 5 ways to negate the effectiveness of the proposed filter.

One other thing to mention is that the Liberals have declared that they won't introduce the filter if they win the election.

Letters of Note: Correspondence deserving of a wider audience

I highly recommend this site. The letters are often quite poignant and always deserving of a read. The link below is rather sad but a good example of the type of content on this site.
